What is a Paint Jam?

Mandi our President posing with the models at the Comic Jam

A paint jam is when a bunch of special effects artists get together and body paint on models. We can provide anywhere between one and 40 painters and their accompanying models to a venue. The painters spend about an hour in a closed off area putting down a base coat on their models for modesty. After the preliminary paint is put on the finishing touches are applied while the patrons of the establishment are able to walk around, take pictures and interact with the painters and models. Many people have never seen body painting live before and have many questions to ask us. It takes about 2-4 hours to paint the models. After the models are completely finished we take group photos and then the individual models are available for pictures with the public.
