Cypress Cove Nudist Resort had their second annual body paint competition in Kissimmee in July.
We love working with them, they have a beautiful facility overlooking the lake and the guests are so impressed with our work we are showered with compliments every time we go there.

We can never get tired of this theme!!

This month's was a more broad theme for the House of Beer's 4 year anniversary party. The artists sure did use their imaginations to come up with some amazing work this time around. Thanks Nix for putting it together.

Our guild attended the Face and Body Art International Convention in Ft. Lauderdale, FL this year. Our members can be found instructing, volunteering, competing and attending classes on face and body art for five days of amazing partying, learning and networking.

Its really hard to get everyone in one place, so we took a few group shots. 

Our guild won 5 awards, I was so proud of our group!!

Spotlight on Artist: Mandi Ilene

 Mandi Ilene is the head of the Central Florida Face and Body Painting Guild. She has been painting on everything since her childhood. She's been face painting face since 2006, then in 2009 added full bodies. Growing up in a beauty salon naturally led her down the path of becoming a makeup artist/nail technician. After being bored of doing bridal makeup, (dramatic but natural, ugh) she began branching out to face paint for princess makeover parties. She hasn't looked back and is now doing face and body art full time while attending school to be a (art/science) teacher. She has won international awards for her face and body art. She has shown her artwork in galleries around Central Florida and even makes trips to the Bahamas to paint. Her goal is to have more work hung in art galleries in 2013.
